Are our products gluten-free?
Yes, all Mugsy products are free from gluten.
Are our products made in a certified gluten-free facility?
At this time, no, however this is our goal within the next year!
What kind of sugar do you use?
We use organic coconut sugar and organic cane sugar, both of which are less refined than conventional sugars. Using these sugars in all of our mixes upholds our values of pure, simple goodness!
Do you use recyclable packaging?
Yes! You can recycle your Mugsy pouches in participating stores. We aim to improve upon our sustainability efforts as we grow, and we will be sure to share with you our updates along the way. In the meantime, we are partnering with Case Western Reserve University's Fowler Center to track our carbon footprint and ensure we're putting forth our best effort to do better for our planet.
Are your cakes vegan?
Our mixes are all dairy-free and naturally plant-based. When making your Mugsy at home, you have the option to use an egg or your favorite non-dairy substitute. We think flax egg makes the best “cake” texture, but a mashed banana makes it extra sweet and moist, and well, that is really delicious, too!
